Morningstar Platform Enhancements

Morningstar Investment Research Center will be rolling out a new and improved platform to NC LIVE member libraries on April 8.
 
The new platform will feature new research tools and enhancements, and will fix the long-standing search box issue. 
 
Action Required- Local Proxy Libraries 
If you have a local library proxy, please add the following lines to your existing Morningstar stanza by April 8th:

SERVICE ALERT: ProQuest Error Messages

Update 2/25/21- This issue has been resolved.

We have received multiple reports from libraries experiencing error messages on the ProQuest platform, including seeing red banner error messages on the search page, and an error message that says "We seem to have encountered a problem."

 
We have contacted ProQuest Support about this issue and will send out an update when we have more information.

Guest Accounts for Transparent Language

Guest accounts are now available on Transparent Language.  
 
Guest accounts allow users to sample Transparent Language Online before creating a username/password. While guest accounts can see all available learning content and explore the program as they'd like, there are a few limitations, including:


- no saved learning history (meaning no course progress or Learned Vocabulary will be saved outside of the current guest session)

- no access to the mobile app
