We want to express our concern and support for our member libraries who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. We are keeping our colleagues, as well as their families and communities, in our thoughts as we seek opportunities to help them recover. Here are some of the resources shared by the State Library, NCLA, and other state organizations:
Credo Reference is down for libraries who use hosted proxy, password, or library barcode for authentication.
Users receive the following error message: "Unable to locate address for search.credoreference.com, please try again later."
We are working with Credo to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
This issue has now been resolved by Credo.
We have created new Institutional Repositories (IR) for NC LIVE's LearningExpress Library and PrepSTEP collections in Summon. Previously, the records for these collections were located in the NC LIVE Catalog (SV-) in Summon and Alma. Moving the collections to their own IRs will allow users from each institution to access the records using their unique institutional ID for LearningExpress Library and PrepSTEP, thus creating better usage reliability and consistency.
This year, NC LIVE purchased 277 ebooks with HomeGrown pledge donations. 275 of these titles are now available in Biblioboard. We were excited to add 55 titles from Blair Publishing this year! Thank you to all libraries who contributed!
