HomeGrown Ebooks now Accessible via Geolocation

NC LIVE is excited to announce that ebooks in the HomeGrown Ebooks Collection are now accessible via location-based links (geolocation) for all residents in North Carolina. Geolocation allows users in North Carolina IP ranges to immediately access ebook content without needing to sign-in via proxy. This will make accessing HomeGrown content on the BiblioBoard app seamless for patrons in North Carolina.

Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk if you are still experiencing issues. 

ProQuest resources are currently down, including Historic NC Digital Newspapers Collection. According to the ProQuest status page https://status.proquest.com/ , their engineers are working on the issue. We'll update you when we have more information.

SERVICE ALERT: Ferguson's Career Guidance Center for Public Libraries

Access to Ferguson's Career Guidance Center has been restored for public libraries. 

1/5/2022:

Ferguson's Career Guidance Center may be inaccessible for public libraries. Users clicking on the link will get an Infobase page with database options including Films on Demand and Just for Kids, but not Ferguson's. 

We are in contact with Infobase about this issue and will update you when we have more information.
