Update, 3:30pm- Access to Gale resources has been restored.

We have been informed by Gale Support that their resources are currently experiencing technical issues, causing the databases to be inaccessible at this time. Gale is aware and is currently investigating the issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will send an updated message once the issue has been resolved.

Update: This issue is resolved. All users should have access to Data-Axle Reference Solutions.

Data-Axle Reference Solutions has a temporary outage. Users see an error message after logging in and are unable to use the resource. Data-Axle anticipates the issue should be resolved soon.

HomeGrown in WorldShare Management

NC LIVE has created a collection in WMS for HomeGrown Ebooks: 

NC LIVE HomeGrown Ebooks, customer.54122.6

The collection contains all of the ebooks currently in the collection, including our most recent additions to the collection in 2021. NC LIVE will update it whenever there are new additions to the collection.  

There are several other HomeGrown Collections currently in WMS, but these are not updated or maintained by NC LIVE.

NC LIVE proxies- Potential Downtime- February 4, 7:00-8:00am

On Friday, February 4 from 7:00am-8:00am, NC LIVE will perform OS updates on our servers. This may result in proxy downtime of 5-10 minutes per library for libraries using NC LIVE Hosted Proxy, barcode pattern matching and NC LIVE password. 

We will send out an email when the updates are complete.

Global Humanities Readers- New Links

New versions of the ebooks Global Humanities Readers volumes 1 & 2 have been loaded into the HomeGrown Collection on BiblioBoard. The new ebook versions have improved accessibility features with alt-text descriptions to images throughout the books.
