Digital Library on American Slavery (DLAS) is a freely available and searchable database focused on bringing to light the names of enslaved individuals from court petitions, historical newspapers, and deed records held by Register of Deeds offices across North Carolina.

NC LIVE's EZproxy upgrades are complete and all proxy instances should be running normally. We moved from version 7.0.16 to version 7.2.12.  Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk if you experience any issues. 

NC LIVE Proxies and Hosted Proxies will be offline on Tuesday, April 11th, from 7:00-7:30am for infrastructure upgrades. This includes any libraries using the NC LIVE password, barcode pattern matching, or NC LIVE Hosted Proxy.
