The NC LIVE Executive Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Leverett (she/her) as NC LIVE Executive Director, effective on February 19, 2025.

NC LIVE's 2024 ROI - Year in Review Report is now available. This two-page report covers the months January - December 2024 and includes:
 

• NC LIVE's statewide Return on Investment, which shows how much libraries saved this year on e-resource subscriptions through NC LIVE.

• An infographic summary of NC LIVE’s activities in 2024
   

Access has ended for the 5 complimentary EBSCO resources that were made available to NC LIVE libraries for Hurricane Helene relief (GIDEON, DynaMed, Dynamic Health, Home Improvement Source and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Reference Center). Access was available through December 31, 2024 and EBSCO has informed us that access is no longer available.

RESOLVED 1/17/2025

As part of the transition from ABC-CLIO to Bloomsbury Collections, 69 NC LIVE ABC-CLIO titles remain inaccessible. When selecting the titles, users may see a "subscription required" page, or they may see a "Not a DOI" error page. We are working with Bloomsbury to fix these access issues as soon as possible.

RESOLVED: EBSCO has informed us the issue impacting the direct link to Consumer Reports has been resolved. All libraries should have access to Consumer Reports.  

We are getting reports of access issues with Consumer Reports. Users may see an EBSCO login screen when trying to access the resource. We are in contact with EBSCO about this issue and will let you know when we have updates. We apologize for the inconvenience and will be working to resolve it as soon as possible.
