In an ongoing effort to improve RBdigital, it’s necessary to take the RBdigital administrative and patron-facing sites down for maintenance on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. The process will begin at 5 a.m. ET and take approximately 30 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are also making updates to the RBdigital experience.
New Login Screen
Targeting the week of July 15, a new login screen will display in the RBdigital app. The login button will be more prominent, and the registration link will appear higher on the screen. These changes are intended to create a cleaner login screen for patrons and highlight the login and registration options.
Single Sign-On
We are in the process of adding functionality to support Single Sign-On (SSO) through Open Athens/Shibboleth. This service will enable patrons to access multiple library services, including RBdigital, using a single set of credentials. Currently, this functionality is being tested with a limited set of customers. In the coming months, once that testing is concluded, we will notify you as we roll it out more broadly. Prior to that broad rollout, the Single Sign-On link will still be visible to all patrons at the bottom of the login screen.
